Position Overview: We’re hiring a seasoned Level 2 Field Service Engineer with 2–3 years of experience servicing general X-ray and mammography equipment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting, independent installations, and full-spectrum support of imaging systems in healthcare environments.
What You’ll Do:
Independently install, calibrate, and repair X-ray and mammography systems
Perform advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs
Provide technical training and operational guidance to end users
Collaborate with OEMs and healthcare professionals to ensure uptime and compliance
Serve as a field expert for imaging equipment performance and system support
Travel within territory and occasionally support regional/national projects
Contribute to business development through client relationship management
What You’ll Need (Requirements):
- Associate degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering or related field, or comparable industry experience
- 2–3 years of field service experience with general X-ray and mammography equipment
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic tools, OEM specs, and medical device safety standards
- Strong analytical and independent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to travel regionally to assist other engineers
